Cartridge Cleaner Features:

• Cleans, re-tensions and inspects all half-inch tapes that are compatible with the IBM 3480, 3490, or 3590 systems (depending on model chosen)
• Fast enough to clean ten (10) tapes unattended in less than half an hour
• Smooth and safe tape handling with hydrodynamic tape path bearings to minimize tape contact and friction
• Air filters and ionizers are included to purify the environment and eliminate static
• Standard optical scanner designed to detect oxide voids .025" or larger
• Standard autoloader (10 cartridge magazine)
• Microprocessor controlled to automatically set tension per ANSI standards for each type of tape
• Programmable short tape detection
• Automatic Error Recovery
