The LaserFiche Snapshot Utility allows you to skip paper altogether by printing directly to LaserFiche from any Windows application. The Snapshot Utility gives LaserFiche the power to accept printer output the same way it accepts a scan. Just select Snapshot as your printer and use any program's standard print function. Snapshot input can be indexed and stored like any scanned page, but since it's already electronic text, there's no need to OCR. The LaserFiche Snapshot Utility is a must for anyone who generates LaserFiche pages on their computer.

How to use the Snapshot Plug-in
Simply go to the Windows document you wish to archive. Select Snapshot as the printer. Click on Print, Snapshot creates TIFF images and a list file describing the document. The images are then automatically imported directly into LaserFiche where they can be managed like your paper records. It can't get any easier than that!
