Ascent Capture has a lot of power out of the box. Need more? Good news! As the "Operating System of Capture", Ascent can be enhanced and extended to meet your specific needs by using custom modules.

Use custom modules whenever you need additional capabilities in your Ascent Capture process. Need highly sophisticated forms processing? Want to add annotations to page images? There are Ascent custom modules for you.

Ascent custom modules fall into three support categories:

• Kofax-supported modules have been developed by Kofax or are distributed in the U.S. by Kofax. Kofax provides support for these modules.

• Partner-supported modules have been developed by Kofax technology partners or resellers. These modules are sold and supported by the partner or reseller.

• Freeware modules are available from a variety of sources, and include source code.
