The development
of a new tape formulation has enabled us to
produce MTCs with greater long term
stability.
The use of ultra-pure materials results in
new standards of life expectancy and
stability against climatic conditions for
magnetic tapes. We are using an
ultra-stabilized magnetic surface and
moisture-protected GRAHAM chromium dioxide
pigment with extremely low remanence losses.
Optimum
performance
Continuous
sample testing on 3480/3490 original and
compatible drives guarantees a performance
of at least 25 GB/TWE for the GRAHAM EXTRA
and 50 GB/TWE for the GRAHAM MAXIMA (IBM
industry norm: 6 GB/TWE).
Greatest
reliability The
uncompromising Accelerated Drive Test, in
which the MTC is subjected to a simulation
of the toughest conditions of use, and also
the most stringent quality controls prove
it: The GRAHAM 3480/3490 MTC generation
offers the greatest freedom from errors and
the highest reliability, both in constant
use and in long term archiving.
GRAHAM MTC XL 1 GB = 200 MB more storage
capacity
Significantly more storage capacity per
cartridge for GRAHAM 3480E and all
compatible drives. The high capacity GRAHAM
MTC EXTRA XL substantially reduces costs of
system, operation and archiving. And there's
no need for an expensive adjustment to the
microcode in the drive.
